About this record and how to read it

Engr. Waseem Nazir became Chairman of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) on 7 September 2024, for a three-year term (2024–27). He is also Chairman of the Professional Excellence Group (PEG).

This page lists the work published about his Chairmanship up to 15 October 2026. It follows a detailed review of published sources, such as APP and other news outlets, and official PEC channels.

Each point says what was done and, where the review gives a reason, why it matters. Figures and dates are shown as published. If two sources give different numbers, we show both and name the source.

The review lists 62 numbered completed items and 19 announced or in-progress items. This page covers 59 of the 62 numbered items, plus the Energy China MoU. It leaves out Item 61 (thin evidence) and Items 52 and 58 (only the Chairman’s own interview figures). Some entries combine closely related items; the item numbers are shown on each card. The 19 announced items are shown separately at the end.
