August 2026 included the GET Phase-I passing-out and meetings with contractors.

  • August (Item 16). The Chairman said engineers now receive their certificates automatically on result day. This is his statement; no independent audit was found.

Announced

  • August (A1). Announced: full digitalisation and e-licensing of all PEC operations by December 2026. Instant renewal is already reported as live; the rest is still a target.
  • 24 August (A12). Announced: an appeal for federal and provincial budgets to fund GET for all eligible graduates. It is not yet adopted as a national budget line in the sources searched.
