February 2025 brought the end of the first Generative AI cohort and a first meeting of Southern Punjab universities.
Highlights
- About 6 February (Item 7). The first Generative AI cohort ended. Of about 18,000 applicants, about 5,000 took part and 1,258 were certified.
- February (Item 19). In an APP interview the Chairman said about 30 universities had approached PEC to set up PEC Desks. This shows interest. It does not mean 30 desks were working.
- About 18–19 February (Item 21). PEC brought together all 11 public and private universities of Southern Punjab at NFC Multan, for the first time.
Announced
- February (A6). Announced: cover all about 130 engineering universities in the consultation by the end of May 2025. A full completion checklist was not found.
