April 2026 saw Phase-II placements begin and a new online programme for freelancing.
Highlights
- 1 April (Item 35). GET Phase-II placements began across about 60 organisations. The headcount differs by source: the PEC website gives 1,700 placed and a later APP report gives about 1,420 inducted.
- 13–17 April (Freelance Initiative). PEC and Aspire Pakistan ran the PEC Global Engineering Freelance Initiative: online training with 5,000 seats for engineers.
